We know that getting familiar with interactive sites can sometimes be a little challenging for our new members so we’ve produced a set of help pages that will hopefully answer any site related questions you have and help you get the most from your online experience. We strongly encourage anyone to look through our help pages before contacting us as we are not always able to respond quickly to site related queries.
Put simply, we are a questions and answers site created by our members. A comprehensive forum where people like you can find help, ask questions, help others or just find out things you didn’t know. Our members come from all walks of life and from all corners of the globe. We provide an online resource of information for parents and for those who look after children. Our service is free to use and anyone can create a thread in our forum, list an event or enter our competitions. You do not have to be a member to use our service but we do ask that anyone contributing is registered as a member of the site. This is primarily to reduce the amount of spam we receive and to ensure all content can be controlled. We can also email our members information that may be of interest to them. Registration is quick and easy and if you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can also login with your credentials.
The Parent World uses screen names to identify you on the site. You can set your screen name to anything you like. You can also change your screen name whenever you want. We never show your real name, email address or birthday to anyone else using the site.
As a member, you can organise the information you find on our site by bookmarking useful threads and following other members. This enables you to keep up to date with any new posts from other members that have something in common with you or have helped you in the past. A lot of other forums do not enable you to do this and often information you have found can get forgotten quickly.
